Hydrowatt's core business is, it itself, an economic activity with a positive social impact: producing electricity (evermore important for society) from a renewable source, water, using micro plants that "recover" kinetic energy that would otherwise be dispersed.
Efforts are directed at minimizing environmental impact by constantly seeking to improve processes, in the knowledge that water and other natural resources are extremely precious and indispensable to nature and man.
Recycling and the environment are key elements in the company's operations and this philosophy also directs its philanthropic contribution to society.
Hydrowatt supports and sponsors cultural events and shows in various artistic fields (pictures, sculpture, music, photography) for the restoration and diffusion of works connected to the areas it works in and the environment in general.
Hydrowatt has been an institutional sponsor Académie de France in Villa Medici in Romefor years, and collaborates with FAI and Civita, two of the leading national organisations supporting the arts, culture and nature.
