Hydrowatt S.p.A. has its headquarters in Folignano in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The company designs, builds and operates renewable energy production plants. Hydrowatt was established with the primary aim of developing reliable and innovative technology to produce electricity by reclaiming and reutilizing the excess pressure within aqueduct pipes.

Hydrowatt manages 30 hydroelectric plants, of which it owns 18, positioned on the pressurised pipelines and canals of the major aqueducts and land reclamation syndicates in central and northern Italy. Total hydroelectric production is over 40MWh/year.

MISSION To invest in the renewable sources sector, setting up small and medium sized electricity generating plants whilst respecting the environment.
