Discovering Ascoli Piceno by bicycle

The volunteer association “Ascoli Piceno Friends of the Bicycle” members of FIAB (Italian Friends of the Bicycle Federation), aiming to encourage ever more widespread use of bicycles for everyday travel around the city, has devised a bike-sharing project called “Adopt a bicycle”: many Graziella model bicycles will be given to the shopkeepers and trades people who request them, and they must then make the bicycles freely available to both city residents and tourists, who are becoming ever more numerous, especially with summer approaching. Hydrowatt could not miss the opportunity of supporting such an interesting and clearly ecological initiative, and so it has decided to make its contribution by becoming a sponsor and promoter. The city of Ascoli Piceno, as with the whole of Marche is rich in history and culture, offering architectural treasures and unique landscapes, so what better way to fully appreciate them than by bicycle? The project is truly innovative, the first of its kind so far in Italy. Ascoli’s “Friends of the Bicycle” thus hope to start a free permanent service of renting bicycles in the municipality of Ascoli Piceno that also supports the commercial activities of the participants; and Hydrowatt is delighted to offer its full support.
