Photography exhibition on Bosnia Herzegovina

Always aiming to promote cultural and artistic initiatives seen as “fundamental values for our society”, on Friday 4th April 2008, at the 7th Rome International Photography Festival, Hydrowatt will sponsor a photographic show entitled “The peak comes before the rupture: Medjugorje - Mostar” created by two young photographers Mario Cusimano and Claudio Laureti, and displayed in the exhibition areas of the cultural association “SPAZIO PUNCTUM”. The show is an “evocative” photographic reportage of two key localities in Bosnia Herzegovina, Medjugorie and Mostar, which both exist in extreme contexts: the first, the everyday reality of transcendence and spirituality; the second, the precariousness that becomes normal after armed conflict… this is the borderline between the two neighbouring but distant places.
